The Dating Diary organises a diary of fun, social events, aimed at bringing together single professionals in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas.

The Dating Diary has been set up to create the right opportunities for busy single people to get together. You may be recently single, divorced or have lost a loved one; perhaps you have little time to sort out your social life – the Dating Diary will give you the chance to meet new people and make new friends.

We are not an internet dating website, dating agency or speed dating company. We aim to be different. We don’t believe in tick lists, matchmaking or embarrassing games – at our events the emphasis is on relaxed socialising rather than ‘dating’.  Our stylish get togethers will give you the chance to meet friendly, attractive and like-minded professional people.

We also strongly believe in giving something back to the community. Our events all sponsor a local charity so every booking made by you will provide a donation to an organisation that needs it.

Having had good experiences at the launch and second dating Diary events, I was pleased to attend the third event. The atmosphere was very pleasant and a small ice-breaking exercise (with a champagne prize!) definitely helped people mix and mingle. Sarah, the lovely hostess, with her two colleagues Jen and Jenny also helped make the evening run smoothly. I would say the evening was VERY successful    Good value on all levels – Recommended! I was overwhelmed by the number of people attending and the more or less equal mix of the genders. Virtually everybody was (I found) very approachable and easy to communicate (again perhaps not often the case in meet-ups where people are not previously known to each other).  The real plus was the quality and character of the people, many were in professions and I sensed a great deal of sensitivity and kindness as well as a desire for fun and laughter in the pursuit of a more sociable life.    (Jules, London)
